Cerebro donates STARBOOOKS to San Sebastian College - Recoletos Manila

Cerebro, in partnership with the DOST-Science and Technology Information Institute, recently donated one unit of DOST-STARBOOKS to San Sebastian College - Recoletos Manila to enhance their collection of digital library resources.
Cerebro is one of the DOST-funded companies under DOST PCIEERD's Startup Grant Fund and the Technology Application and Promotion Institute's Expanded Venture Financing Program, while STARBOOKS is a "digital library in a box" developed by DOST Philippines to bring science and technology information closer to schools throughout the country.
The donation, which is Cerebro's way of giving back to DOST for being one of its beneficiaries and to SSC-R Manila for being one of its project implementation partners, was accepted on behalf of the school by Dr. Catherine Castañeda, Vice President for Academics and Research, and Mr. Romel Rafor Jaime, Head of the Library System.
Representatives from DOST-National Capital Region led by Assistant Regional Director Engr. Osric Quibot and Regional STARBOOKS Focal Person Mr. Nico Zapanta also witnessed the ceremonial turnover.
