The University of Southern Mindanao, Kundo E. Pahm Learning Resource Center (KEPLRC) successfully held Kapehan sa Aklatan and the Launching of DOST STARBOOKS (Science and Technology Academic and Research-Based Openly Operated KioskS) on January 12, 2026, at the KEPLRC.

This meaningful activity brought together administrators, faculty, staff, students, and partners in celebrating access to science, technology, and research-based information. The program highlighted the importance of digital learning resources in strengthening academic research, innovation, and inclusive knowledge-sharing within the university community.

The event featured messages from university officials and representatives from the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), an overview and live demonstration of the DOST STARBOOKS Project, and a symbolic launching that marked another milestone in advancing library and information services at USM.

University of Southern Mindanao
