𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗥𝗕𝗢𝗢𝗞𝗦 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗼 𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲!

A bit late, but worth the share—this marks a significant milestone for science and technology education in the province!

From November 17–21, 2025, the STARBOOKS Mass Installation was successfully conducted across Davao del Norte, following the MOA between DOST XI and the DepEd Division Offices. This initiative is part of the province’s long-term plan to equip all schools with STARBOOKS by 2030, providing learners and educators wider access to digital science and technology resources—even in areas with limited internet connectivity.

All four DepEd Divisions—Panabo City, Tagum City, IGACOS, and Davao del Norte—actively participated, with 82 new schools availing of the installation. A total of 141 laptops were installed and fully configured with STARBOOKS, expanding this “library-in-a-box” across the province.

The installation was led by the DOST–STII team, assisted by DOST XI and PSTO Davao del Norte personnel, ensuring smooth deployment and technical support. Special appreciation goes to the Installation Team: 𝙍𝙚𝙮𝙣𝙖𝙡𝙙𝙤 𝘼. 𝙈𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙡𝙚𝙨, 𝙀𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙣𝙚 𝙒𝙖𝙮𝙣𝙚 𝙈. 𝘼𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙙𝙤, 𝙅𝙤𝙢𝙖𝙧 𝙂. 𝙍𝙖𝙗𝙖𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙖, 𝙅𝙤𝙝𝙣 𝙈𝙞𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙚𝙡 𝙌. 𝘾𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙙𝙖𝙨, 𝙀𝙢𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙪𝙚𝙡 𝘿. 𝘾𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙖, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙤𝙪𝙨 𝙏. 𝘽𝙞𝙧𝙖𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙩, whose dedication made this initiative possible. Guiding the process and leading the capacity-building component, Reynaldo A. Morales, as Trainer and Head of Party, provided invaluable support to ICT Coordinators from all beneficiary schools. On November 21, the coordinators underwent hands-on training to manage and integrate STARBOOKS effectively into teaching, learning, and research activities.
