The Department of Science and Technology–Cordillera Administrative Region (DOST-CAR), through the Provincial Science and Technology Office of Abra (PSTO-Abra), formally turned over units of the DOST-STII Science and Technology Academic and Research-Based Openly Operated Kiosk Stations (STARBOOKS) Digital Library to LGU-Sallapadan in a ceremony held at the LGU Conference Hall.

As part of the activity, school heads and ICT teachers took part in a Users’ and Administrators’ Training, where they learned how to utilize STARBOOKS for teaching, research, and community-based learning.

STARBOOKS Provincial Coordinator Engr. Markjay A. Trinidad also provided a hands-on walkthrough of the platform, guiding participants through system features, account creation, and offline functionality.

This collaboration between PSTO-Abra and LGU-Sal-lapadan reinforces the municipality’s commitment to accessible and inclusive learning—echoing the spirit of “One Sal-lapadan” and its dedication to ensuring that every school has the opportunity to benefit from digital innovation.
