DOST Central Visayas joined the grand opening of the Cebu Lighthouse at Il Corso Cebu, welcoming people into a space where learning, culture, and shared experiences come together.

Organized by Il Corso Cebu in partnership with Anjo World Theme Park, the event brought families, students, and visitors together to explore an attraction that blends history, discovery, and scenic views.

Through exhibits on parola (lighthouses), guests were able to connect with Cebu’s maritime heritage in a simple and engaging way. Interactive QR codes made learning more accessible, allowing each visitor to explore at their own pace.

On the second floor, visitors can access STARBOOKS, offering free science and technology resources for everyone. Through this initiative, DOST Central Visayas continues to bring knowledge closer to the people—especially students and lifelong learners.

From meaningful learning moments to the breathtaking view at the top, the Cebu Lighthouse offers something for everyone.

More than a landmark, it is a space where people can explore, learn, and grow together.
