The National Fisheries Research and Development Institute (NFRDI) is the primary research arm of the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) under the Department of Agriculture. Established by the Philippine Fisheries Code of 1998 (RA 8550), the institute is mandated to raise the yield and productivity of Philippine fisheries through cutting-edge research, technology development, and policy recommendations. De La Salle Araneta University is a private Catholic educational institution and the seventh member of the De La Salle Philippines system, distinguished as the only Lasallian school in the country specializing in agriculture, veterinary medicine, and food technology. Originally founded in 1946 as the Araneta Institute of Agriculture in Bulacan, it was later relocated to its current "green campus" in Malabon and officially integrated into the De La Salle network in 2002. Department of Science and Technology - Main Compound
The Department of Science and Technology-Philippine Council for Health Research and Development (DOST-PCHRD) is mandated to formulate and develop strategies, policies, plans, and programs for science and technology in health. As the national body responsible for funding, coordinating, and monitoring health research activities in the country, the DOST-PCHRD supported and implemented the Traditional Knowledge on Health Program (TK on Health) to document and preserve the traditional knowledge and healing practices of indigenous peoples and cultural communities in a digital library also known as the Philippine Traditional Knowledge Digital Library on Health (Philippine TKDL).

The Forest Products Research and Development Institute (FPRDI) was created in 1954 as the Forest Products Laboratory (FPL) under the then Bureau of Forestry. It was located, as it is now, in the campus of the University of the Philippines Los Baños – College of Forestry and Natural Resources (UPLBCFNR). The Laboratory was established in response to the need for information and technology on the utilization of timber resources as well as non-wood forest products.
